Since 2011, I have been working in IB schools, possessing extensive experience in teaching, assessment, and curriculum development. My work focuses on conceptual and contextual learning, developing inclusive educational environments, and implementing inquiry-based teaching approaches. Assessment plays a central role in my practice—designing tasks that are meaningful, aligned, and supportive of student growth. I am especially passionate about creating cohesive, concept-driven unit planners that bring curriculum and assessment together in powerful, purposeful ways.
Educational Philosophy
I emphasize the critical importance of a well-structured and sequenced curriculum. A thoughtful scope and sequence ensures the progressive development of knowledge, concepts, and skills across programs, laying a strong foundation for student success. This approach promotes deeper understanding, better engagement, and sustainable academic achievement. When curriculum is vertically and horizontally aligned, it fosters a cohesive learning experience that empowers students to make meaningful connections, transfer their learning across contexts, and become lifelong learners.
